The idea of I heart SY was initiated in Oswestry, in November 2011, when Chris Langston (former editor of SY11 Magazine) & Alex Fairclough (Conservation Volunteers Officer for TCV) were trying to find out when the local fireworks displays were. They found that, due to living on the borders of several counties, it was very difficult to find relevant up-to-date information.
With help from Blue, and local volunteers, they created I heart SY magazine which encompasses cross-border news, events and information.
